I'd been using Cliniko for the past five years and recently switched to Daobook. I've found it much more relevant to the way we actually work in a TCM clinic. I'm often running between two treatment rooms, prescribing herbs and seeing clients, and I used to spend extra hours outside the clinic finishing my notes. With Daobook, having everything in one platform has made my documentation much more efficient.
The function that allows me to select acupuncture points and save commonly used point combinations has saved me a lot of time. The herbal prescribing is also very practical, particularly having preset formulas with the flexibility to modify them when needed. I like having everything in the one system, rather than needing to manage information across different platforms.
The setup has been quite straightforward as well. It's step-by-step, and many of the default settings are already quite relevant to a TCM practice, so there isn't a lot that needs to be changed. Overall, I'm really happy with the transition to Daobook and feel it has made my day-to-day clinic much easier. Thanks, Daniel, for developing a system that is so relevant to TCM practice.
