Terms & conditions
Nannup Community Acupuncture – Terms & Conditions
By booking a community acupuncture session you agree to the following:
- Shared Treatment Space
Community acupuncture is offered in a quiet, shared room. Treatments take place in a group setting, allowing for lower-cost, accessible care. Your practitioner will always aim to support your comfort, discretion, and privacy. However, due to the nature of the space, complete privacy cannot be guaranteed.
You’re welcome to bring anything that helps you feel at ease (blanket, eye mask, headphones, etc.).
- Consent to Treatment
You consent to receive acupuncture and related treatments as discussed with your practitioner. These therapies are generally very safe, though occasional mild effects such as bruising, slight discomfort, or fatigue can occur.
You can pause or withdraw consent at any time.
- Arrivals & Flow of the Session
Please arrive a few minutes early or right on time so the space can run smoothly for everyone. If you arrive late, your treatment time may be shorter. (If I'm running late, you will still get the usual treatment time, just let me know if you have to be somewhere at a certain time).
- Cancellations & Changes
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let me know as early as possible. This allows your spot to be offered to someone else in the community.
Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a fee, though this is approached with understanding and discretion.
- Payment
Payment is made on the day of your session, cash preferred, payid payment is also accepted if needed.
- Health Claims
The sessions can be claimed with your eligible private health cover, please tell me on the day and I'll issue you an invoice later in the afternoon.
- Health Information
Please provide accurate and up-to-date information about your health, including medications, allergies, and any changes between visits. This helps ensure your treatment is safe and appropriate.
- Scope of Care
Acupuncture and Chinese medicine are complementary therapies and are not a replacement for medical care. Please continue to work with your GP or other healthcare providers where needed.
